This year, hundreds of thousands of refugees are spending Eid al-Adha away from home. Millions of people fled their country due to war, violence, and natural diasters, and for many of them this is not the first time they’re commemorating Eid away from their families.
During Eid, Mercy Without Limits intensified their efforts and distributed Udhiya meat to over 750 families in Sierra Leone. Young volunteers dedicated their time to walk door-to-door and distribute the meat individually. Families in Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon were delighted when they received their share of the meat.
During Eid Al-Adha Mercy Without Limits distributed gifts to children from their wish list to encourage them to be optimistic despite their situation. The gift-giving initiative was part of the Eid campaign to help alleviate the suffering of refugee children.

Together, we were able to help hundreds of refugees and internally displaced people with new clothes and shoes this year. Children also receive new toys, coloring pencils and even books for those who are keen on reading and learning. Your donations ensure that vulnerable people were taken care of during the holiday seasons and enjoyed Eid with all of the festivities.
