Zakat Al Fitr is a compulsory donation in Islam, performed at the end of Ramadan, by every adult who has an excess of food. Mercy Without Limits provides donors with the convenience of making a donation towards Zakat Al Fitr. With your donation, we ensure that food is brought to beneficiaries in need in developing countries at the designated time before Eid when it is due. Zakat Al Fitr will be $15 per adult and dependent each in 2025.

Ibn Abbas reported: “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, obligated Zakat al-Fitr as purification of the fasting person from vain talk and misbehavior, as food for the poor. Whoever pays it before the Eid prayer, it is accepted as Zakat. Whoever pays it after the Eid prayer, it is part of voluntary charity.” (Sunan Abu Dawud)
