Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute our marketing strategies. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns that promote the organization’s mission, increase brand awareness, and drive engagement and donations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for humanitarian causes, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in both digital and traditional marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support the organization’s goals, including fundraising campaigns, events, and advocacy efforts.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with the organization’s vision and objectives.
- Campaign Management:
- Create, manage, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase visibility and attract supporters and donors.
- Plan and execute content marketing, email campaigns, social media strategies, and paid advertising.
- Monitor campaign performance, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance the organization’s brand identity and voice across all marketing channels.
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand guidelines are followed across all external communications.
- Digital Marketing:
- Plan, manage and monitor ad campaigns, ensuring favorable ROAs across all advertising platforms.
- Oversee website management, ensuring content is up-to-date and optimized for SEO.
- Manage the organization’s social media presence, including content creation, community engagement, and analytics.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Provide insight on expanding the organization’s digital presence.
- Fundraising and Donor Engagement:
- Support fundraising efforts through marketing strategies that drive donor acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Work closely with the fundraising team to promote donation opportunities, including events, campaigns, and partnerships.
- Video Content:
- Conceptualize unique and engaging video content for YouTube, social media, with potential to be used as ads.
- Provide details and instructions for scripts to the copywriter and the team.
- Ensure two-way communication to optimize submitting edits and encourage adhesion to deadlines.
- Event Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote fundraising and awareness events.
- Collaborate with the events team to create materials and promotional strategies for both online and offline events.
- Partnerships and Public Relations:
- Build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and corporate partners to expand the organization’s reach.
- Develop press releases, pitches, and media kits to secure coverage and partnerships.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and achieve a high return on investment.
- Track expenses and provide regular budget reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a non-profit or humanitarian organization.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including digital advertising on Google and Meta, social media, email marketing, and SEO.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for humanitarian work and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with donor management and fundraising platforms.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools.
- Strong network within media or influencer communities.
